What we collect, why we collect it, and who can see it. The short version: verification documents are seen by reviewers and never published, sellers see buyer profiles when buyers message them, and nothing about your searches is shared with other users.
Structural draft only. Your counsel needs to set the lawful bases, retention periods, international transfer mechanism, sub-processor list, and the jurisdiction-specific rights sections (GDPR, CCPA, and any others that apply) before this can be published.
We collect information you provide and information generated as you use the platform.
We use information to operate accounts, match listings to saved searches, review verification submissions, produce valuation estimates, provide the deal room and its activity logs, prevent fraud and misuse, and communicate with you about your account.
Visibility depends on what you do, not on a single global setting.
Privacy settings let you control whether your profile is shown to sellers you message, whether your buying criteria appear, whether sellers can see that you viewed a listing, whether you appear in similar-buyer suggestions, and whether activity may be used for aggregate benchmarks. Badges can be hidden without losing verified status.
Account and listing data are retained while the account is active. Deleting an account removes profile, listings, saved searches, and verification records, except where retention is legally required — for example signed NDAs and closed-transaction records.
We share data with processors that host infrastructure, verify identity, deliver email, and provide analytics, under contract and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell personal information.
You may request access to your data, correct inaccuracies, export a copy, or request deletion. Requests can be made from account settings or through support.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, restrict internal access to verification evidence to trained reviewers, log administrative access, and support two-factor authentication on accounts.
Support can explain how a clause works in practice. For advice about your own situation, speak to your own adviser.
